Set up in the UK in 1984, The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan has helped thousands of people from all over the world to diet. Based in Corby, Northamptonshire, they export to countries all around the world.
Their Issues
Prior to using Exportmaster they were facing a number of challenges:
- Multiple users creating documentation inaccurately and with different formatting.
- Time was being wasted having to check documentation multiple times.
A pivotal moment for their use of Exportmaster was post-Brexit. A lot of documents required additional information, including multiple addresses, statements and VAT/EORI numbers.
What was done
We worked with them to simplify their processes and to capture all of their documentation requirements.
Our application collects data directly from their ERP system, enabling the fast and accurate preparation of export documentation.
Workflows were set up to manage shipments that matched the way they wanted to work. For example, if one customer has multiple orders on one shipment, Exportmaster consolidates multiple orders into a single shipment. The pack list that is produced for each shipment details everything needed, from the build of each pallet, right down to batch, BBE and DOM information.
The Results
Processing of orders is now simple. The longest part of the task is packing the products onto pallets. The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan now ships to 16 different countries with no problems and they have shipped over 12000 pallets since 2018.
The accuracy of data and documentation is superb. The documentation looks clean and professional, making it easy for us, our customers and any border controls to understand
